The AV Awards 2026 shortlist is out, and Funktion-One has been nominated in the 'Venue Project of the Year' category for our work at Neushoorn in Leeuwarden, Netherlands.

Neushoorn wanted to expand its existing Funktion-One system to deliver a fully immersive audio experience that could handle everything from intense electronic nights to delicate live performances.

Working with More AV and Holophonix, Funktion-One created a fully immersive system that expanded the listening experience throughout the venue while keeping audio confined to the venue and not bleeding into the surrounding residential area.

The event, taking place at Evolution London on Friday 6th November, will be attended by members of the Funktion-One team, along with others involved in the project.
