BIG SOUNDING SMALL ENCLOSURE

This portable 'all in one' system is probably the smallest fully horn loaded enclosure available. The unique combination of compact size, low weight and sonic excellence, make it the ideal choice for an incredibly wide range of applications. It is equally suited for use by discerning musicians and DJs as by leading sound consultants in demanding projects. From small to medium club and pub venues to critical AV and professional sound reinforcement applications, this loudspeaker system resolves the quest for quality, response and level from a small source. The Resolution 2 undoubtedly delivers exceptional sound with a surprising amount of bass for its size.

The Resolution 2 is a full range, 3-way bi-amplified horn loaded enclosure with a passive high frequency crossover. The design incorporates Funktion One's patented Axhead technology and new space saving bass loading. This highly efficient design provides outstanding fidelity across the full frequency range from 45Hz to 17kHz for use both in a mobile or installation environment.

The Resolution 2 consists of a 15" low frequency driver covering the frequency range from 45Hz to 250 Hz, an 8" mid-range driver coupled to a wide dispersion axhead covering the frequency range from 250Hz to 6.5kHz and a 1" high frequency driver covering the frequencies in the range 6.5kHz to 17kHz. It features a well controlled dispersion pattern of 50° horizontal by 25° vertical and is constructed from 15mm birch plywood with large integral handles to the rear of the box at the top and bottom for ease of handling. The wooden enclosure is finished in violet semi-matt texture paint, (optional silver finish available on request), with silver waveguides and features built in attachment points for external flying hardware. Speakon connectors fitted to the rear panel provide input and parallel connections.

There is also a version of the enclosure called the Resolution 2U which features a rotatable mid high waveguide. This allows the enclosure to be deployed in either a left or right handed horizontal orientation, particularly useful in rooms with restricted ceiling height.
