On the 6th January 2002, the largest Funktion One touring system assembled to date was deployed on the Jamiroquai concert in the super-large 43,000 seat Tokyo Dome indoor arena. Tony and Ann Andrews together with John Newsham were in Japan alongside Masaaki Azuma of Funktion One Japan and Try Audio.

The show was the first of Jamiroquai's two week tour of Japan that also went to the Osaka Dome. As well as these massive indoor domes, the tour also played in smaller venues around Japan - the flexibility of the Resolution system was really appreciated..

This was the first use of a new add-on flying system to fly Res 9s above a six wide Res 5 cluster.
